Location:

Springfield, MA (Hybrid)

• Supporting Security Operations Center (SOC) by leveraging industry leading security tools and knowledge of cybersecurity threats to prepare, identify, contain, eradicate, and recover from security incidents.
• Perform monitoring for cybersecurity-related technologies and generate alerts for potential security events requiring investigation; perform technical analysis for events requiring deeper investigation.
• Perform malware analysis and extract Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) to feed the Threat Intelligence Platform.
• Learn the business and technology environment to detect anomalous behavior from standard activity; identify, classify, and document adversary Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs).
• Collaborate with the Security Intelligence team to enrich and enhance prevention, detection, and threat hunting capabilities.
• Partner with the Security Platforms team to develop playbooks to effectively respond to specific threats.

• Education: Associate degree (minimum) in Cybersecurity or related field.
• Experience: 2+ years in Help Desk or IT support with exposure to security tools; 2–6 years of total professional experience (please do not submit candidates with more than 6 years).

  Familiarity with Splunk, Sumo Logic, EDR tools, firewalls, proxies, and Proofpoint; scripting (Power Shell); experience across Windows, Mac, Linux; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay Range: $27/hr - $32/hr pay range offered based on education, experience, location, duties, certifications, etc.
