Job Title: Service Now ATF Specialist (Upgrade Regression Suite)

Job Description
The Service Now ATF Specialist will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing automated tests using the Automated Test Framework (ATF) within the Service Now platform. The primary focus of this role is to develop and maintain a comprehensive Upgrade Regression Suite to ensure the integrity, quality, and performance of Service Now functionalities during platform upgrades and development cycles.

• Design & Development:
  Design and develop automated testing strategies specifically for the Service Now upgrade regression suite.
• ATF Scripting:
  Develop, configure, and maintain ATF scripts and scenarios for core modules (ITSM, ITOM, etc.) and custom applications.
• Regression Testing:
  Perform regression testing during new releases and updates to ensure existing functionalities remain unaffected.
• Upgrade Support:
  Use ATF to validate functionality before and after upgrades to capture baselines and identify remediation areas.
• Defect Tracking:
  Identify, document, and report defects found during automated testing, working closely with developers for resolution.
• Test Maintenance:
  Continuously enhance and update ATF tests to reflect new customizations and platform improvements.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work with stakeholders, solution architects, and developers to translate business processes into comprehensive test cases.
• Knowledge Transfer:
  Work with engineers and analysts to ensure that there is a complete understanding of how ATFs are structured and how they support good testing practices.

• Experience:
  
  3+ years of hands-on experience working with the Service Now Platform as an ATF Engineer or Specialist.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with scripting in Service Now environments.
• Testing Knowledge:
  Strong understanding of automated testing methodologies, UI testing, and Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
• Certifications:
  
  Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist - Automated Test Framework (CIS-ATF) highly preferred.

• Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs for integration testing.
• Current experience with Service Now ITSM.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
