A DAY IN THE LIFE

As a Senior QA Engineer, your days will be dynamic and engaging. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our financial technology solutions. A typical day may involve collaborating with cross‑functional teams, designing test strategies, executing test plans, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our QA processes. You'll have the opportunity to work on cutting‑edge projects that push the boundaries of innovation in the fintech industry.

WHAT

WE’LL TRUST YOU TO DELIVER
  • Test Strategy and Planning:
    Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans for financial software applications, considering various scenarios and use cases.
  • Test Execution:
    Execute manual and automated tests to validate the functionality, performance, and security of our fintech products.
  • Defect Management:
    Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaboration:

    Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide valuable input during the development lifecycle.
  • Automation:
    Drive the implementation of test automation frameworks and tools to enhance efficiency and coverage of testing processes.
  • Regression Testing:
    Perform thorough regression testing to ensure the stability of existing features while validating the successful implementation of new functionalities.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Actively contribute to the improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies, promoting a culture of quality within the organization.
  • Documentation:
    Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and testing processes.
WHAT YOU LIKELY BRING TO THE TABLE
  • Experience:

    A minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on fintech or related industries.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    Solid understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and techniques. Experience with automation testing frameworks is a plus.
  • Analytical

    Skills:

    Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to think critically and find creative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Communication:
    Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross‑functional teams and articulate testing strategies and findings.
  • Adaptability:
    Ability to adapt to a fast‑paced startup environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Attention to Detail:
    Meticulous attention to detail to ensure thorough testing coverage and accurate defect reporting.
  • Team Player: A collaborative mindset and a passion for working in a team‑oriented culture.
NOTE
  • Most positions are hybrid (3 days onsite) in our FIS Office locations in Chicago (Illinois), Milwaukee (Wisconsin), Atlanta (Georgia) and Jacksonville (Florida).
