Information Technology Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our client’s product management team. In this role, you will leverage strong analytical and communication skills to align stakeholders on project requirements and product outcomes, helping shape complex software tools that are easy to use and valued by both customers and internal users.

Your deliverables will range from project description documents and stakeholder discovery, to requirements setup, wireframes (must-have), mock-ups, testing support, and other content creation. You should be able to identify opportunities for improvement and be comfortable giving constructive feedback. The ideal candidate is naturally analytical and empathetic, able to explain technical or complex concepts to stakeholders. You will report to a Product Manager and collaborate with cross-functional partners including product leadership, other BAs/product managers, operations, QA analysts, business stakeholders, and developers.

This is 5 month contract with strong chance to convert/extension

• Facilitate product vision by researching, ideating, sketching, and testing high-quality user experiences for complex software products.
• Continuously improve usability: identify problems and devise solutions, taking intelligent risks and championing ideas aligned to product vision and overarching goals.
• Translate concepts into deliverables including wireframes (required), user stories, user journeys, and related artifacts, optimized across devices and interfaces.
• Partner with stakeholders to define requirements, audience, metrics, and vision, while accounting for technical and design constraints.
• Collaborate with developers to evaluate implementation options and support delivery teams through implementation, resolving challenges creatively.
• Work within established processes while contributing to continuous improvement and documenting new processes where applicable.
• Make strategic UX/design decisions grounded in theory and research for new, core, and future functionality.
• Use a user-centered design approach to rapidly test and iterate.
• Collaborate with analysts, designers, developers, product owners, QA, and project managers.
• Create supporting documentation such as release notes, user guides, and other supporting content.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field (Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar).
• 3+ years of experience in business analysis, project management, and/or software development.
• Demonstrated wire framing experience (required). Experience with tools such as Figma is a plus.
• Business analysis certification is a plus (CBAP, PMI-PBA, and/or Agile certifications).
• Hands-on experience with database-related initiatives such as data integration and digital transformation.
• Experience working with large/complex datasets, including data analysis and data management, with understanding of data models, mapping, quality, and governance.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts/technologies such as ETL, data integration, and analytics is highly desired.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, SharePoint, Teams, O365).
• Ability to communicate concisely and effectively (written and verbal) in a technical context, producing stakeholder‑ready documentation.
• Experience writing requirements in user story format with detailed acceptance criteria and feature documentation.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
