Our client, a leader in the financial services industry is seeking a Manager, Fund Accounting Analytics. This role is responsible for investor reporting, accounting and/or reporting for internal vehicles, limited partnerships, and managed accounts. You will be performing complex data analysis and develop automated reports for business stakeholder and leadership.
Responsibilities- Lead and expand analytics initiatives supporting the Fund Accounting function, including both ongoing reporting enhancements and new project development aligned with evolving business priorities.
- Partner with cross-functional team members to identify high-impact opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and deliver strategic reporting solutions utilizing enterprise data warehouse resources.
- Serve as a resource to colleagues by enhancing team-wide reporting capabilities and promoting best practices in analytics and data visualization.
- Develop, validate, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI for business performance monitoring, leveraging SSAS Tabular models, data warehouses, and data lakes.
- Produce recurring analytical reports and respond to ad-hoc data requests from senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Monitor the reliability and performance of reporting assets, collaborating with Technology Solutions teams to troubleshoot and resolve data or system issues.
- Work closely with internal data analytics and data governance teams to align on standards, share expertise, and drive consistency across reporting frameworks.
- Actively contribute to firmwide Communities of Practice to promote adoption of self-service analytics tools and strengthen organizational data literacy.
- Support additional projects and responsibilities as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree required; preferred concentrations include applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, business analytics, or related quantitative disciplines.
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in database management, business intelligence, and data analysis roles.
- Advanced understanding of relational database structures and enterprise data warehouse environments.
- Strong proficiency in T-SQL, DAX, and Power Query (M).
- Extensive experience building visualizations and dashboards in Power BI.
- Deep familiarity with Power BI Paginated Reports and/or SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Demonstrated experience managing Power BI Service environments, including workspace administration, security configuration, deployment pipelines, and data refresh management.
- Working knowledge of Power BI Gateway setup and maintenance.
- Exposure to programming languages such as R or Python is considered a plus.
