Overview

The Senior Analyst, Data Science is tasked with developing and delivering advanced ML/AI-based products and analytic solutions integrated into Publicis CoreAI to support the agency’s global media engagement relationship with Mars, Inc. (Mars). This role will be a critical driver of technical and effective delivery of advanced analytic solutions, including connected measurement, outcomes/KPI forecasting, experimental designs at strategic segments and geo levels, and optimization across all brand & performance media investments.

We seek an experienced marketing/data analyst practitioner who has applied technical expertise to innovative data engineering and ML/AI modeling problems. The ideal candidate blends technical-domain expertise with hands-on modeling and data engineering experience in leveraging structured and unstructured data and has category experience in CPG and service-based business models.

Responsibilities
  • Solution Development:
    Design and develop ML/AI-based data products and analytic solutions that are essential blocks of the Publicis CoreAI workflows, directly supporting the delivery and execution of the One Mars Measurement and Optimization roadmap. Work independently or interface with other data scientists and data engineers from partner Publicis teams.
  • Partnering with peers in related technical areas to audit/assess current data science capabilities and offerings to support media & marketing planning and operations functions.
  • Operate in a growth-oriented mode to enhance the current suite of AI-based analytic data products.
  • Assist in the development of Proof-of-Concepts to evaluate new tools.
  • Subject Matter Technical Expertise:
    Communicate and translate product and output requirements into AI/ML solution architecture, tools, tasks, and code to improve the Publicis CoreAI offering.
  • Hands-on coding across multiple programming languages and frameworks to create ML/AI/GenAI applications that solve business problems; adapt to new languages and paradigms as needed.
  • Produce high-quality code that enables rapid delivery and practical utility.
  • Model across multiple data domains & platforms, with an understanding of elastic scale and building highly available, scalable analytic systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product strategists, data/technology engineers, business analysts) to deliver innovative AI/ML features and services for workflow implementations.
  • Ensure projects adhere to quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
  • Domain Thought-Leadership & Industry Innovation:
    Stay abreast of trends and best practices in data science; support internal knowledge-sharing and training; contribute to case studies and white papers highlighting success stories and innovative analytic approaches.
  • Elevate technical excellence within the organization and contribute to setting standards in the domain.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science and advanced analytics.
  • Experience developing AI/ML analytic solutions in fast-moving, innovation-focused environments in categories such as e-commerce/retail, entertainment/media/travel, advertising platforms/services (e.g., Google, Amazon).
  • Demonstrable history of hands-on coding and strong proficiency in multiple programming languages; experience building products used by other developers.
  • Mastery of multiple programming languages and development tools; ability to deliver high-quality, scalable software.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tackling challenges.
Preferred Skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with agile and other progressive development methodologies.
  • Additional emphasis on proactive problem solving and adaptability.
Education
  • Advanced degrees (M.Sc./PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related field preferred.
  • Certifications in analytics or data science (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, Certified Analytics Professional) preferred.

Compensation Range: $73,150.00 - $ annually. This range may be modified at any time. The Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off for regular roles.
