This is a platform build
, not a maintenance role.

- Establish data governance and quality frameworks where none exist
- Oversee and direct offshore engineering teams (India) as design authority
- Partner directly with CFOs and private equity sponsor
s to articulate ROI (working capital visibility, reporting integrity, performance transparency) - Support sales pursuits and shape a scalable data-management offering across the firm
This role sits at the intersection of technical credibility, commercial instinct, and consulting leadership
.
You likely come from a technology-forward advisory environment and have:
- Built zero-to-one data platforms for PE-backed or middle-market companies
- Owned architecture decisions — not just dashboards
- Led offshore teams while remaining accountable for design integrity
- Translated technical infrastructure into EBITDA impact
- Operated comfortably in lean, entrepreneurial consulting settings
- Newly created leadership seat with real autonomy
- Direct exposure to sponsors and value-creation agendas
- Clear runway to scale a national capability
- Compensation aligned to impact: $425K–$590K total comp
If you are currently building data platforms inside a large consulting firm but want greater ownership, commercial visibility, and platform influence — this is a conversation worth having.
