We are seeking a Director of Engineering-MTS (Lead Developer / Architect) to spearhead the design, development, and technical direction of Traxxall’s new platform. This individual will play a key role in shaping the architecture, ensuring the product is built with scalability, security, and performance in mind, and building a team of engineers to support the platform into the future. The role bridges hands-on development with strategic technical leadership.

• Architecture & Technical Strategy
• Define and own the overall system architecture for the new Traxxall platform.
• Evaluate and select modern frameworks, languages, and cloud infrastructure to support scalability, performance, and security.
• Ensure best practices in design patterns, coding standards, and system integrations.
• Development Leadership
• Lead by example with hands-on coding and design contributions.
• Provide technical guidance to developers across backend, frontend, mobile, and integrations.
• Drive adoption of Dev Ops, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Collaboration & Communication
• Partner with Product leadership to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Work closely with QA, analysts, and support teams to ensure seamless product delivery and ongoing reliability.
• Contribute to roadmap planning with realistic technical estimates and risk assessments.
• Team Growth & Mentorship
• Recruit and scale a strong development team over time.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
• Support & Reliability
• Oversee production support and ensure high availability for mission-critical aviation systems.
• Proactively identify and resolve performance, security, and scalability issues.

• 10+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 in a lead or architect role.
• Deep expertise in modern web stacks (e.g., .NET / C#, React, MS SQL, or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience in AI/ML technologies (such as natural language processing, predictive analytics, or intelligent automation) and in building tools that improve both internal efficiency and customer workflows.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure or AWS), microservices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Proven experience designing enterprise SaaS systems with high reliability and security requirements.
• Solid grasp of Dev Ops principles, CI/CD, and automated testing frameworks.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence technical direction.
• Aviation industry or regulated SaaS experience a plus, but not required.
