A leading professional services firm is seeking an experienced SharePoint Administrator to design, develop, and manage modern solutions within a Microsoft SharePoint Online environment. This role requires advanced technical expertise and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the firm’s SharePoint ecosystem is secure, scalable, and aligned with evolving business needs. The SharePoint Administrator will play a key role in modernization and intelligent automation initiatives, supporting AI-enhanced capabilities and driving innovation across the Microsoft 365 platform.
ResponsibilitiesSharePoint Administration & Development
- Design, configure, and maintain SharePoint Online sites, pages, custom forms, web parts, and workflows
- Translate business requirements into scalable SharePoint solutions and technical specifications
- Manage site architecture, permissions, and content governance using tools such as AvePoint or similar platforms
- Administer SharePoint Online through Azure SharePoint Administrator roles and Power Shell
- Lead or support SharePoint migration initiatives, including site-to-site and content migration projects
- Provide end-user technical support and resolve SharePoint-related issues
- Promote adoption of advanced SharePoint features and enhance overall user experience
- Integrate and support AI-enhanced capabilities within SharePoint Online, including Microsoft 365 Copilot and related intelligent services
- Configure and manage AI-driven content solutions such as SharePoint Syntex/Content AI, automated tagging, metadata extraction, and document classification
- Develop and support automations using Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Graph, and Power Shell
- Monitor and optimize performance of AI-enabled tools to ensure measurable business impact
- Collaborate with IT leadership and security teams to ensure governance, privacy, and compliance standards are met
- Educate stakeholders on AI capabilities, best practices, and responsible usage within Microsoft 365
- Develop and support reporting solutions using Power BI Service (paginated and interactive reports)
- Leverage SQL Server for backend data support and reporting enhancements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required
- Minimum of 5 years of SharePoint development and administration experience required
- Experience with in a law firm or professional services environment preferred
- Experience with AI-enabled SharePoint integrations strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience with SharePoint migration and content management initiatives
- Advanced knowledge of SharePoint Online, including page design, web parts, site features, and security models
- Proficiency with Azure SharePoint Administrator role and SharePoint Online administration via Power Shell
- Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development
- Strong knowledge of AvePoint, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), Power BI Service, SQL Server, and Microsoft Graph integrations
- Experience building and maintaining process automation solutions
- Knowledge of SharePoint governance standards and best practices
- Excellent communication skills and user training capability
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
