We focus on providing delivery, staffing, and supported services such as enterprise integration/implementations including CRM, EAM, ERP, PMO, and QA. We service clients in SLED (state/local gov't & education), financial services, fortune, public utility, and regularly partner with Big 4 SI partners.

Role Overview

A Salesforce tester ensures the quality and functionality of Salesforce applications by designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test plans, scripts, and scenarios. They collaborate closely with developers and business analysts to identify and resolve defects, validate system performance, and maintain high standards of software quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts for Salesforce applications to ensure all functionalities are thoroughly tested.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with the development team to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
  • Conduct regression testing to confirm that existing functionality remains unaffected by new changes or updates.
  • Leverage automated testing tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Perform performance and load testing to verify system meets performance standards and can handle expected user loads.
  • Generate detailed test reports and documentation to communicate test results and quality metrics to the project team.
  • Suggest key performance indicators and metrics to help measure the effectiveness of new processes and improvements.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in testing Salesforce applications, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom applications.
  • Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Provar, or Test Complete.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and document test results.
Skills and Experience
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform features, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom applications.
  • Proficiency in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications.
  • Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Provar, or Test Complete.
  • Ability to identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure thorough testing and quality assurance.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Salesforce Certification such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II, Salesforce Certified Administrator, or Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in using Salesforce testing tools such as Provar, Selenium, or Test Complete.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience testing within Agile environments.
  • Relevant Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder.
Work Environment

Remote with less than 25% travel to Chicago, IL.

Pay Rate

$50-$58 per hour depending on experience.
