Overview
SAP Integration Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing the integration between SAP systems and other business applications. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP integration technologies and methodologies to ensure seamless data flow and process alignment across the organization.

Role: SAP Integration Specialist.
Duration: 6 months.
Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite).
Key Responsibilities- Integration Development: Develop, and implement integration solutions between SAP systems and external applications, ensuring efficient data exchange and process synchronization.
- System Configuration: Configure and maintain SAP integration components with integration technologies (e.g., IDoc, BAPI, RFC).
- Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyse integration requirements, translating them into technical specifications and solutions.
- Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing of integration scenarios to ensure data integrity and process functionality. Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Support and Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support for integration issues, including troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving system-related problems.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration processes, configurations, and changes. Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including SAP consultants, developers, and IT support, to ensure successful integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Optimization: Continuously monitor and assess integration performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing optimization strategies.
- Compliance: Ensure that integration solutions adhere to organizational standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience with SAP integration technologies. Experience in integrating SAP with non-SAP systems is highly desirable.
- Technical
Skills:
Strong knowledge of relevant programming languages (e.g., ABAP), integration methodologies, protocols (e.g., XML, JSON, APIs, SOAP, REST, Web Services, EDI), and data transformation techniques. Proficiency in BTP and FIORI APPs is a plus. - Analytical
Skills:
Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. Ability to analyse complex systems and processes to identify and address integration issues. - Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
