THE ROLE
The Integration Associate will play a critical role in enabling seamless technical integrations between our client's platform and customer systems. This individual will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting healthcare integrations while serving as a trusted technical partner to customers. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with HL7 and API-based integrations, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, and is passionate about helping customers succeed through reliable, scalable technical solutions within a healthcare or healthtech environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Partner closely with customers and internal stakeholders to gather integration requirements and design scalable technical solutions that meet customer needs.
- Build, maintain, and test HL7 interfaces, Restful APIs, and workflows that connect external healthcare systems to the platform.
- Manage multiple customer integrations simultaneously, including technical design, documentation, timelines, and integration performance reporting.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customer project leads throughout the integration lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve integration issues while providing clear technical guidance and support to customers.
- Monitor post-implementation integrations to ensure stability, adoption, and ongoing performance.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to share customer feedback and influence integration-related roadmap decisions.
- Advocate for customers by promoting industry best practices and contributing to the evolution of platform integration capabilities.
- 3+ years of experience in customer integrations or customer-facing technical roles, preferably within healthcare or healthtech.
- Hands-on experience with healthcare integration standards such as HL7 v2, SMART on FHIR, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience integrating with Electronic Health Record systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athena, Mod Med, or similar platforms.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex integration projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a structured, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience designing, building, or supporting data pipelines, interfaces, or workflows.
- Familiarity with data ingestion and transformation processes using tools such as APIs, Python, or similar technologies.
- Working knowledge of SQL and interacting with production databases.
- Bachelors, degree required, ideally in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related quantitative field.
