Job Overview
Accenture is looking for a seasoned SAP Functional Solution Architect to deliver critical utilities solutions. You will work in Accenture’s Utilities SAP Practice, delivering major SAP solutions and utilities‑specific capabilities such as customer systems, energy data management, demand response, asset operations, regulatory reporting and distributed energy resources.
Responsibilities- Engage senior client executives on business challenges and the value of SAP solutions (current and future).
- Lead customers in defining their SAP journey through business cases, roadmaps, sales origination, proposal development and client presentations.
- Architect end‑to‑end solutions leveraging SAP technologies, custom apps and partner solutions.
- Advise, design and deliver solutions based on industry best practices and embedded innovation.
- Lead large project teams across scope, delivering transformational roadmaps onsite or within Accenture.
- Become a trusted advisor, staying current on regulations, trends and innovations across your expertise area.
- Be a thought leader, building assets, best practices and developing the next level of transformation experts.
- Minimum 7 years experience as a SAP Functional Solution Architect and Process Integration Lead with extensive functional and technical knowledge of CS&S processes for the utilities industry.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in SAP projects supporting utilities clients and/or industry (SAP support/managed services experience will not be considered).
- Minimum 4 years experience with CS&S integrations with other cross‑functional areas.
- At least 3 end‑to‑end SAP S/4 implementations, including project planning, estimation and solution architecture for utilities clients.
- Experience managing SAP delivery teams in a global delivery model, driving complex workshops, leading design decisions, and executing system build, configuration, testing, cutover and go‑live in the SAP CS&S area.
- Prior experience in an advisory/consulting role.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years of work experience). If holding an associate’s degree, a minimum of 6 years of equivalent work experience is required.
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
CompensationAccenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired as set forth below. We accept applications on an ongoing basis and there is no fixed Final date to receive applications.

- Cleveland: $122,700 to $270,600
- Colorado: $132,500 to $292,200
- District of Columbia: $141,100 to $311,200
- Illinois: $122,700 to $292,200
- Maryland: $132,500 to $292,200
- Massachusetts: $132,500 to $311,200
- Minnesota: $132,500 to $292,200
- New York/New Jersey: $122,700 to $338,300
- Washington: $141,100 to $311,200
