About the RoleThe App Growth and Social Marketing Specialist will own organic app growth from the ground up, with direct responsibility for testing, executing, and iterating on social and UGC driven acquisition strategies.
This is a hands on, execution led role. You will personally create content, run experiments, and track outcomes tied to installs, activation, and engagement. There is no existing playbook. Success comes from testing quickly, learning fast, and doubling down on what works.
This role is ideal for someone who wants real ownership, clear accountability, and visible impact.
What You’ll Do Organic App Growth- Drive app installs and active users through organic and earned channels
- Test and scale early stage growth tactics such as UGC, creators, communities, and referral loops
- Design and run growth experiments end to end, iterating based on performance
- Create and ship short form content across platforms like Tik Tok, Instagram, and You Tube Shorts
- Develop UGC prompts and social activations tied to real usage outcomes
- Own social execution from idea to posting to performance review
- Identify and engage micro creators, superfans, and niche communities
- Build lightweight creator partnerships focused on authentic adoption
- Track results beyond vanity metrics
- Monitor installs, activation, retention, and engagement metrics
- Use data to decide what to scale, refine, or shut down
- Continuously refine hypotheses based on results
- Hands on experience growing a mobile app, product, or community
- Strong short form social and UGC execution experience
- Comfort operating in early stage, resource light environments
- A performance mindset focused on installs, activation, and retention
- Bias toward action, testing, and learning over polish
Compensation for this role is based on demonstrated ownership and proven outcomes, not titles or years of experience. The interview process will include a review of prior work, decision making, and results, as well as references, to determine level.
Salary range is $80,000 to $110,000 depending on experience and demonstrated ability to drive organic app growth.
Compensation reflects initial scope and demonstrated ownership. As impact and responsibility grow, there is room for progression over time. Equity or additional upside may be available for the right candidate.
