Data Analyst, IT Project Manager
Akkodis is seeking a Data Center manager for a 6+ month contract with a client located in Chicago, IL
Pay Range: $55/hr.
- $60.00/hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
As a Sr Data Center Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing complex data center programs, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Your expertise will be essential in driving operational excellence and innovation within our data center initiatives. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our data center operations, enhancing our ability to deliver high-quality services and solutions to our clients while optimizing resource utilization and minimizing risks.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage data center programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Monitor and report on program progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues as they arise.
- Proven experience in managing data center programs or projects.
- Strong knowledge of data center operations, infrastructure, and best practices.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in data center technologies and platforms, including virtualization, cloud computing, and networking.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in construction and/or data center management or related roles.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
