Overall Purpose

As a Sr. Distinguished Engineer, you will lead the technical design, development, and delivery of Early Warning’s next-generation cross-border consumer money movement platform. This new solution will leverage a range of technologies, including stablecoin, to provide fast, secure, and compliant global transfers.

This is a hands‑on technical leadership role where you’ll be both a visionary architect and an active builder. You will define the technical strategy and architecture for the platform, collaborate across product, risk, and compliance teams, and set the engineering standard for secure and scalable digital asset infrastructure.

Essential Functions
  • Own the architecture for Early Warning’s cross‑border money movement solution, designing for scalability, security, and regulatory compliance

  • Design and implement key components, from wallet management and transaction orchestration to liquidity and settlement services

  • Collaborate closely with Engineering leaders, Architecture, Security, and external partners

  • Lead the technical evaluation and integration of blockchain technologies, stablecoin protocols, and digital asset service providers

  • Build and advocate for engineering best practices around smart contract security, transaction traceability, and system observability

  • Identify opportunities to ship value to Production quickly and in incremental chunks to avoid “big bang” delivery; complex environments benefit from incremental delivery.

  • Provide new code solutions (likely POCs) and/or make coding changes to resolve critical issues in existing application code base; this is an individual hands‑on skill requirement.

  • Build and deliver well‑considered scaling solutions via strong relationships with key stakeholders in the Data, Architecture and Operations organizations.

  • Ensure software development follows effective quality guidelines and best practices in line with the rest of the Engineering organization.

  • Ensure accurate/reliable information is provided within company standards including all service level agreements, and audit regulations.

  • Ensure solutions are built following our Engineering best practices (e.g., Quality, CI/CD, scalability, etc.).

  • Keep executive‑level leaders informed of progress and problems. Balance technical leadership and savvy with strong business judgment to make the right decisions about technology choices. Make recommendations at a critical level.

  • Comply with all security policies and procedures, to ensure that the highest level of system and data confidentiality, integrity and availability is maintained.

  • Support the company’s commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.

  • The above job description is not intended to be an all‑inclusive list of duties and standards of the position. Incumbents will follow instructions and perform other related duties as assigned by their supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education or experience typically obtained through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

  • Minimum 15 or more years of progressive software engineering experience; recognized as a technical expert with demonstrated experience mentoring and leading large‑scale deliverables and processes in a Technology organization.

  • Minimum 10+ years of leading efforts or processes in a Technology organization,…
