The Professional Services Consultant will oversee implementations and consultative engagements for the Proofpoint Data Security products, including Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), Insider Threat Management (ITM) On‑Premise and SaaS, Email DLP, Endpoint DLP, Cloud Application Security Broker (CASB), SaaS Isolation & Adaptive Access Control (AAC), and Proofpoint(enable isolation). This individual will develop new services, implement best practices, and assist in customer escalations as needed.

The ideal candidate has the demonstrated ability to ensure successful service delivery and customer success as well as third‑party DLP solutions (Microsoft + Symantec DLP condition to support migrating legacy solutions to the Proofpoint Data Security Posture Platform.

• Thoroughly scope engagements through assessing the client’s operations and business processes, gathering key business and functional requirements, and making recommendations to optimize Proofpoint technologies.
• Provide strategic program design solutions that allow clients to identify, protect, monitor, and manage their most protected data and people.
• Work with the broader Professional Services, Support, Engineering, and Product teams to address customer concerns and manage escalations.
• Work closely with(route) your corresponding sales organization to ensure customer needs are met and customer satisfaction continues to rank high.

• 4+ years industry experience in a customer‑facing role
• 4+ years of experience in IT consulting or related fields.
• Familiarity with Data Security Posture Management, Insider Threat Management, Endpoint Security, and/or Cloud Security concepts.
• Proficiency in Windows Server environment; experience with web infrastructure components like IIS and MS SQL is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of Linux infrastructure.
• Exposure to Microsoft or Symantec DLP solutions is desirable.
• Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
