Enterprise Architect, Finance & Legal Systems
The Enterprise Architect, Finance and Legal Technologies will define and deliver the technology architecture strategy across Finance and Legal functions, enabling data‑driven decision‑making, automation, and operational excellence. This role will combine deep technical expertise with innovative thinking to modernize and optimize core enterprise systems — including Net Suite or Oracle (ERP), Conga, Anaplan, and Xactly. The successful candidate will leverage AI, machine learning (ML), NLP, and intelligent automation to reimagine traditional financial and legal processes/systems, enabling predictive insights, streamlined operations, and smarter compliance.
WhatYou’ll Be Doing
- Define the target‑state architecture for Finance and Legal applications, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and growth objectives.
- Lead the design and implementation of end‑to‑end architectural solutions for Finance and Legal systems, ensuring integration, scalability, and performance across the enterprise.
- Develop and maintain a multi‑year roadmap for modernization across ERP, FP&A, Legal, and Sales Compensation systems.
- Ensure systems are designed with identity‑first security principles, integrating with Okta and other IAM solutions for authentication, authorization, and compliance.
- Architect and implement AI/ML‑driven solutions to optimize finance and legal processes — such as predictive forecasting, anomaly detection, spend optimization, contract risk scoring, and intelligent reconciliation.
- Evaluate and integrate AI/ML platforms (AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, etc.) and frameworks (e.g., AWS Sage Maker, Azure ML, Data Robot) with ERP and financial and legal ecosystems.
- Partner with Shared Services AI team to operationalize AI/ML solutions/models within G&A functions, ensuring alignment with business outcomes.
- Design data pipelines and model‑serving layers that connect structured and unstructured data (invoices, contracts, emails) to AI/ML tools.
- Ensure seamless data flow across ERP (Net Suite/Oracle), Coupa, Scout, Anaplan, Conga, and Xactly systems using APIs and middleware (Boomi). Define unified data models to support analytics and AI consumption.
- Identify opportunities to embed generative AI, NLP, and LLM capabilities into core Finance and Legal processes.
- Lead hands‑on proof of concepts (POCs) and AI‑driven automations to reduce manual efforts across Finance and Legal functions.
- Perform code, configuration, and system performance reviews to ensure quality, scalability, and compliance with enterprise standards.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on Finance and Legal technology trends such as subscription/usage‑based billing, AI contract analytics, and compliance automation.
The Role Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
- TOGAF or similar Enterprise Architecture certification is a plus.
