Role OverviewAs an Associate Data Scientist in the Analytics and Innovation (Ai) team, you will collaborate with business and technology leaders to implement AI and ML-powered solutions that enhance operational efficiency, drive revenue growth, and improve customer engagement. This role involves working with diverse departments such as Airport Operations, Network Planning, Revenue Management, and Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with fellow data scientists and cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver high‑quality predictive and analytical models.
- Analyze operational data to provide actionable, data‑driven recommendations.
- Develop and deploy solutions using data analysis, machine learning, and optimization techniques.
- Enable seamless data transfer between platforms and monitor model performance for scalable deployments.
- Research and adopt the latest machine learning methodologies, sharing insights with the team.
- Communicate analytical insights effectively through presentations and reports to leadership and stakeholders.
- Engage with data engineering and operations teams to provide updates and support for ongoing projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or Economics.
- 0–3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Python or R, SQL, Excel, and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Intermediate knowledge of machine learning algorithms such as Decision Trees, Random Forest, XGBoost, GBM, and KMeans clustering.
- Comfortable working with large datasets and applying statistical concepts.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
