** What You'll Do
*** Manage data as a strategic product by defining clear ownership, accessibility, and usability of datasets, and establishing standard definitions that enable seamless cross-functional understanding.
* Implement data contracts at the source, partnering with product engineers to prevent upstream changes from "breaking" downstream data consumer product features.
* Enable self-service product discovery by managing the data catalog to ensure product teams can independently find and understand the lineage of data.
* Bachelor’s or higher degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
* Understanding of technology stacks related to cloud storage solutions or enterprise software applications relevant to governance products enhances collaboration with technical teams.

* * Chicago, Illinois, United States The US national base salary range for this position is from $84,700.00 - $The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role.  Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work  addition to base salary, the anticipated range of which is posted above, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus which rewards participants based on individual and/or company performance.
