Job Description
We are seeking an energetic, creative, and resourceful Senior Sales Engineer to join our rapidly growing team. This role is for a technical problem-solver who is passionate about demonstrating the value of applied AI to prospective clients. You will be a primary technical resource for the sales team, responsible for actively driving and managing the evaluation of our technology.
The ideal candidate is a blend of a technical expert and a trusted advisor, comfortable architecting innovative AI-driven solutions, building compelling proofs-of-concept (POCs), and presenting to both technical and executive audiences. In our fast-moving startup environment, you must be accountable, adaptable, and adept at finding novel solutions to complex challenges in a rapidly evolving market.

Responsibilities
• Partner with Sales:
Collaborate closely with the sales team on deal strategy to achieve wins.
• Lead Discovery:
Uncover and analyze customer goals and challenges, acting as a consultative expert to understand their business needs deeply.
• Solution Design & Demonstration:
Lead the design and strategy for AI-powered solutions, collaborating with technical teams (like Demo and Forward Deployed Engineers) to deliver compelling, customized demonstrations and POCs that showcase their value and feasibility.
• Technical Expertise:
Serve as the expert on our technology and AI solutions, including their capabilities, architecture, and integration patterns, articulating them clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay Ahead of the Curve:
Continuously monitor and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, market trends, and the latest advancements in applied AI. Use this knowledge to inform solution design and sales strategy.
• Executive Presentations:
Confidently present technical solutions and business value to stakeholders at all levels, including C-level executives.
• Handle Technical Inquiries:
Manage and respond to technical questions, RFIs, and RFPs in a thorough and timely manner.
• Develop Requirements and SOWs:
Determine final project requirements and write the Statement of Work.
• Post-Sales Feedback Loop:
Engage with customers post-sale to ensure solutions are meeting expectations and gather valuable feedback to inform our product roadmap and pre-sales approach.
• Focus on Outcomes:
Go beyond technical features to understand and define the customer's desired business outcomes. Utilize data and insights to design solutions that deliver measurable value, ensuring the ultimate measure of success is the outcome achieved.
• Be a Creative Problem-Solver:
In a fast-paced environment, be accountable and resourceful in turning customer requirements into elegant, supportable solutions.
Qualifications (Required)
• 4+ years of experience in a client-facing role such as a Solution/Sales Engineer, preferably within a B2B SaaS or AI-focused company.
• A proven track record of success in a pre-sales environment, contributing to sales or team goals.
• Exemplary presentation and communication skills with the ability to command a room and simplify complex technical topics.
• Strong technical aptitude and a deep understanding of web technologies, APIs, and enterprise software architecture.
• Familiarity with the broader enterprise software ecosystem (e.g., eCommerce, CRM, ERP, APIs) and cloud applications.
• A strong, demonstrable understanding of and passion for applied AI technologies and their practical business applications. You must be genuinely excited about building and selling AI-powered solutions.
• A curious, creative, and adaptable mindset, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving startup culture.
