In this role, you will lead a team of Data Center Technicians, driving operational excellence across the full lifecycle of server and network hardware. You will set clear team priorities and foster a high‑performance culture through consistent coaching and development. As a partner to site stakeholders, you will oversee facility activities, ensuring that the installation, configuration, and decommissioning of critical assets align with long‑term infrastructure goals.

You will manage network deployments and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks. You will maintain security and operational standards, using data trends to identify process improvements and proactively ensure maximum system uptime. Additionally, you will advocate for workplace safety by overseeing Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives and compliance programs. By balancing technical oversight with proactive management, you will ensure the data center remains a secure, efficient and reliable environment.

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $153,000‑$227,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience managing technical teams in charge of installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, or maintaining hardware servers and its components.
  • Experience in site‑level data center operations, including building and managing leadership teams and developing managers.
  • Experience working with network architecture and operating systems (e.g., Linux).
  • Must have the ability to work non‑standard hours, including working weekends, night shifts, holidays and on shift‑based schedules as required.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience managing data center operations, including compute and network architecture, infrastructure life cycles, and Linux/Unix system administration.
  • Experience leading high‑stakes operations within 24/7 environments, including the successful management of remote teams and distributed work forces.
