The Founding ML Engineer will be responsible for developing and training machine learning models that analyze EEG data to predict epileptic seizures in advance. You will own the end-to-end ML lifecycle from data preprocessing and model training to deployment and optimization working closely with hardware, software, and clinical stakeholders. This is a foundational role with significant influence over the company's core IP and long-term technical strategy.

• Design, train, and deploy machine learning models for seizure prediction.
• Build and maintain scalable ML pipelines in the cloud.
• Work with time-series and physiological signal data, including EEG.
• Train models from scratch, including CNNs and Transformer-based architectures.
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineers to align signal acquisition with model needs.
• Optimize models for performance, reliability, and real-time inference.
• Contribute to technical documentation and regulatory readiness.

• 3+ years of professional experience in Machine Learning.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Tensor Flow, Keras, and Jupyter.
• Experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud.
• Proven experience training computer vision or signal-based models from scratch.
• Strong understanding of ML fundamentals and model evaluation.
• Plus:
  Experience working with EEG, ECoG, or other neural signals.
