We’re seeking a Senior Dev Ops Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll design, implement, and support automation for deployments across public and private cloud environments.

Location: Chicago, IL (loop area right near Union Station) – Hybrid or Onsite (TBD)

Duration: 12‑month contract (potential for extension, accepting W2 or C2C)

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Develop and support build and release automation for complex environments.
• Collaborate with architecture and security teams to ensure compliance and scalability.
• Champion Dev Sec Ops  practices
  , embedding security tools like Checkmarx, Sonar Qube, Prisma Cloud.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment
  , supporting Azure Dev Ops configurations.
• Drive adoption of modern SDLC frameworks aligned with Agile and Dev Sec Ops .
• Contribute to cloud architecture discussions and technology roadmaps.

• 5+ years in software engineering and Dev Ops.
• Strong experience with Azure Dev Ops
  , Terraform
  , Docker
  , Kubernetes
  .
• Cloud expertise in Azure and AWS
  .
• Familiarity with Ansible
  , Chef
  , and scripting languages (Python, Power Shell).
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Datadog, Splunk, Cloud Watch) and databases (MySQL, Dynamo
  
  DB, Mongo
  
  DB).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
• Strong communication and ability to explain standards and architecture.

• Experience with pair programming using Git Hub Copilot

• Familiarity with Neo4J
  , AWS Neptune
  , and advanced containerization strategies.
