Founding Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Founding Machine Learning Engineer to own the predictive core of our technology. You will be responsible for designing and training the models that translate raw neural signals into actionable life‑saving alerts. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives on building from scratch and applying state‑of‑the‑art Computer Vision architectures to complex time‑series data.

Key Responsibilities

• Model Development:
Build, train, and optimize deep learning models (CNNs, Transformers) from scratch to detect pre‑ictal states in EEG data.

• Pipeline Architecture:
Design end‑to‑end ML pipelines on AWS or Google Cloud Platform, ensuring efficient data ingestion and model deployment.

• Signal Processing:
Implement advanced preprocessing techniques for high‑frequency neural signals to maximize model performance.

• Strategic

Innovation: Stay at the forefront of ML research, evaluating and implementing novel architectures to improve prediction lead times and accuracy.

Qualifications

•

Experience:

3 years of professional ML experience in an industry setting (preferential to academic‑only backgrounds).

• Technical Stack:
Expert proficiency in Python, Tensor Flow, Keras, and Jupyter Notebooks.

• Deep Learning:
Proven track record of training Computer Vision models (CNNs, Transformers) from scratch for complex pattern recognition.

• Cloud

Infrastructure: Hands‑on experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform for ML workloads.

• The “Plus” Factor:
Direct experience with EEG or ECoG signal processing is highly desirable.
