A&M’s PEPI practice serves upper middle‑market and large‑cap private equity firms. Our services include merger integration & carve‑outs, pre‑acquisition IT diligence, post‑acquisition implementation, interim management, commercial due diligence/strategy, rapid results, supply chain, and CFO services.

We bring a structured and disciplined approach to create and capture value. Our team works across the full deal lifecycle—from pre‑deal technology reviews, synergy planning, and 'Day‑1' planning to post‑deal implementation. As a Manager, you will lead software product and tech due diligence assessments on target organizations, focusing on product features, technology architecture, IP, R&D processes, OpEx & Cap Ex, and hosting infrastructure.

• Conduct and oversee software product and tech due diligence assessments, including pre‑acquisition, sell‑side, synergy, and post‑acquisition engagements.
• Actively participate in client and target interactions: interviews, interim updates, final readouts.
• Develop and manage data request lists, coordinate with banks and clients.
• Perform detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis of target organization’s technology and product assessments.
• Summarize findings into client‑ready deliverables, ensuring quality and clarity.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff.

• 5‑8 years of professional consulting or relevant industry experience, with at least five years consulting in tech or software/tech‑enabled services.
• Experience with private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, or transaction due diligence is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and ability to produce executive‑level client deliverables.
• Track record of working with business leaders and private equity deal staff.
• Strong fact‑gathering and analytical skills, including quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Prior software or product experience, in a software org or advisory role at a top‑tier strategy or Big‑4 suite.
• Ability to translate technical insights into commercial implications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or similar analytical field.
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time.
