Global Operations supports markets to ensure they have operational solutions and consulting resources that solve the needs of today, while looking ahead to our future.

In this exciting role as Senior Manager, Global Restaurant Operations, you will be responsible for leading key global operations development work streams in support of our consumer and restaurant platform innovation initiatives, which focus on making the roles of our Shift Managers and restaurant teams easier. Additional responsibilities include market testing and evaluation, leading up to scaled deployment. In this new role, you will also partner cross-functionally with McDonald's Restaurant Experience, Product, Design and Technology functions, as well as global, segment and market leadership.

This position reports to the Senior Director, Global Restaurant Operations and will be Chicago (MHQ) based.

Duties

Lead and support projects focused on elevating the customer and restaurant experience, with primary responsibilities including definition of new operations standards and procedures through concept ideation, development and test phases

· Innovate and problem solve to deliver best in class restaurant and customer facing solutions

· Lead market zero testing efforts and test evolution of global initiatives and solutions, work collaboratively across functions to drive projects forward ensuring goals are met

· Partner with cross functionally with product, technology and restaurant experience functions and key initiative leads to develop clear operating standards, procedures, tools and resources

· Manage/support Speedee Labs and in-restaurant testing, ensuring tests are designed for insights and ability to inform strategic decisions (menu, operations, digital, technology and restaurant design)

· Provide proactive updates on initiative progress, keeping projects on track and budget.

· Build trust and transparency to maximize shared learnings

· Comfortable with ambiguity and skilled in defining/bringing structure to solve business problems

· Effective communication skills with the ability to convey concepts and narratives in a compelling manner across stakeholder groups

· Must have strong influencing skills and be able to work across lines of senior management, other business functions, agency/vendor partners, market partners and other staff as appropriate to build an engaging stakeholder network
