Integration Support Lead Engineer (Mule Soft)

Join KPMG US as an Integration Support Lead Engineer (Mule Soft) in our Digital Nexus technology organization. This hybrid role focuses on providing expert support for Mule Soft solutions and ensuring system stability.

• Serve as the subject matter expert for Mule Soft, overseeing daily operations and health; work with specialists to resolve complex integration issues.
• Manage production support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with stakeholders; perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Diagnose and resolve complex system configuration, production, and deployment problems; use monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Mule Soft Monitoring, queues) to address performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (business analysts, developers, project managers) to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions; communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Design, develop, and deploy Mule Soft APIs, integrations, and batch processes using Anypoint Studio, Anypoint API Manager, and Cloud Hub.

• Minimum five years of recent experience in enterprise integration with practical experience using Mule Soft Anypoint Platform.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred;
  Mule Soft Certified Developer (Mule
  4) is an addition.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing Mule Soft solutions, including API‑led connectivity, RESTful/SOAP APIs, and Data Weave; experience with Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, Data Weave, Mule 4.x runtime, API governance, and security policies (OAuth 2.0).
• Solid understanding of integration patterns, protocols (HTTP/s, JMS, JDBC), and data formats (JSON, XML, CSV); working knowledge of CI/CD concepts (Git, Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops), Dev Ops practices, and cloud platforms.
• Ability to independently triage and resolve complex technical issues without constant supervision; capability to translate business needs into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment‑based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
