Security Technology Lead (Contract)

The Northern Trust Company is looking for an enthusiastic, innovative Technical Lead to help facilitate and drive Vulnerability Management communications and remediation efforts as they transform its core platform to meet future stakeholder needs. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting‑edge technologies and collaborate with Information Security, business partners and other technical teams.

• Collaborate with Information Security teams to understand their goals, objectives and pain points, and devise strong solutions to address them securely, effectively and efficiently.
• Act as a subject area expert, providing comprehensive, in‑depth consulting and leadership to teams and partners.
• Consume, understand and review complex requirements.
• Articulate solutions and designs in terms the business can understand.
• Make smart, secure design decisions independently.
• Work closely with metrics teams.

• Minimum five years of IT experience with at least two years focused on Security.
• Technically versatile and savvy; able to pick up new technologies quickly.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Excellent listening and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user‑friendly language.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• In‑depth understanding of information security and practical experience with security and authorization principles.
• Understanding of cloud architectures.
• Team‑oriented perspective with a collaborative operating style.

Min Pay Rate: 82 USD per hour
Max Pay Rate: 88 USD per hour
