About the team

The Partner Management team’s mission is to guide our content partners to imagine, develop, and publish best-in-class video apps and experiences. As the primary point of contact for platform, product, and technical topics, we partner closely with content publishers/streaming services, third-party developers, and cross-functional teams within Roku, including Partner Payouts, Advertising, Product, Engineering, and Legal. In addition to facilitating onboarding and managing app launches across the world, we help partners build intuitive experiences that delight customers while ensuring compliance with Roku’s platform and business requirements.

About

the role

The Technical Program Manager is responsible for leading key initiatives primarily related to partner payouts, and other initiatives around channel store operations, certification automation, and partner support. This individual brings deep expertise in partner-facing programs, excels at building cross-functional relationships, and leverages data to drive improvements to partner experience and internal operations.

The Technical Program Manager provides insights that shape the partner ecosystem, owns high-impact roadmaps, and ensures the smooth execution of programs that are critical to Roku’s growth.

For California Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $94,000 - $150,000 annually.

Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.

What you will be doing

Partner Payouts:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for partner payout operations, ensuring tools and processes are optimized, scalable, and compliant.
  • Lead partner migration to the new payment system, track issues, and deliver a seamless partner experience.
  • Provide ongoing post-launch support, resolving issues promptly and driving continuous improvements to payout workflows.
  • Track, analyze, and report payout metrics to identify trends and inform business decisions.

Channel Store Operations:

  • Drive improvements to internal systems and processes to streamline channel store operations, deployments, and partner/developer management.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to scope and deliver new features that enhance efficiency and partner experience.

Certification Automation:

  • Manage the roadmap for projects focused on automating the certification of apps in the Roku Channel Store.
  • Lead efforts to improve partner/developer management within internal systems by driving automation and operational excellence.

Partner Management & Support:

  • Leverage data to identify partner inquiry trends and recommend enhancements to partner support programs.
  • Improve self-service capabilities through better tooling, documentation, and automation.
  • Manage partner tickets and ensure the Partner Knowledge Center remains up to date and effective.
We’re excited if you have
  • 4+ years of technical program management or partner operations experience, ideally in a platform or marketplace environment.
