The role collaborates with product, sales, marketing, finance, collections, legal, compliance, and engineering to meet business objectives.

• Lead and manage data science projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
• Develop and maintain data models, algorithms, and reporting systems to support data analysis and decision‑making.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand data needs and provide actionable insights.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through regular audits and validation processes.
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

• 5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Implement credit risk strategies that grow US & Canada BNPL products responsibly.
• Design tests to continuously learn about our customers.
• Align priorities with relevant stakeholders across the business.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, product, and engineering teams to ensure policies are implemented on time with appropriate monitoring and controls.
• Take a proactive approach to influence decisions that impact all aspects of the application funnel.
• Experience managing credit risk for a BNPL or installment loan product.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python or a similar language.
