We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Strategic Business Development and Channel Partner to play a pivotal role in expanding Salesforce business and high-impact partnership at ZS with Salesforce. This role specifically focuses on leveraging deep understanding of Salesforce. Having experience with Healthcare, Pharma, or Life Sciences industries, combined with knowledge of Salesforce platforms including Health Cloud, Data Cloud, Agent Force, and Sales Cloud is highly recommended.
The ideal candidate will possess a customer-first mindset, proven partnership management skills, especially while at Salesforce or with Salesforce, and the ability to drive business growth through strategic collaborations.
- Develop, implement, and execute go-to-market strategies with key strategic alliances and channel partners, especially Salesforce, focused on Healthcare, Pharma, and Life Sciences sectors.
- Own revenue influence targets related to Salesforce channel sales; build and maintain a strong sales pipeline aligned with ZS’s growth objectives.
- Collaborate closely with ZS client teams, Salesforce partners, and industry stakeholders to deliver impactful presentations, and evangelize integrated ZS and Salesforce solutions.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams including healthcare practice groups, marketing, PR, legal, and business development to cultivate and expand strategic partnerships and channel relationships.
- Bring high level understanding of key Salesforce capabilities and platforms including Salesforce Health Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud, Data Cloud, Agent Force, Sales Cloud, and related technologies within the healthcare and life sciences ecosystem to enable internal teams and partners.
- Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s degree would be a plus, ideally in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or related field. - 6+ years of relevant experience managing strategic alliances, channel partnerships, or in pre-sales/business development roles.
- Strong familiarity and experience with Salesforce platforms—especially Health Cloud, Data Cloud, Agent Force, and Sales Cloud—preferably in a consulting, partnership, or implementation context.
- Proven track record leading complex sales cycles and managing partnerships that drive revenue growth.
- Deep customer-centric approach with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Agile and adaptable mindset capable of thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Technical aptitude to understand and communicate software solutions effectively to diverse audiences.
- High motivation, strong work ethic, professionalism, and personal initiative to drive results.
