As a Senior Platform Architect – Big Commerce, you will lead the strategic design and delivery of complex, integrated B2B commerce solutions for SMB clients. You will serve as a thought leader and technical authority across Kensium’s Big Commerce practice, while also contributing to cross-platform initiatives involving Big Commerce and Adobe Commerce. This role is pivotal in driving Kensium’s transformation toward becoming a top 5 partner in the SMB commerce space.

• Architect and oversee the delivery of enterprise-grade B2B commerce solutions on Big Commerce, with deep integration into ERP, CRM, POS, WMS, and marketplace systems.
• Lead high-impact discovery and strategy sessions with executive stakeholders to define digital transformation roadmaps.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and extensible technical architectures.
• Mentor and guide cross-functional delivery teams, ensuring alignment with best practices and platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with product, sales, and partner teams to shape solution offerings and GTM strategies.
• Represent Kensium in strategic partner engagements with Shopify, Big Commerce, and Adobe Commerce.
• Drive innovation through the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI, headless commerce, and composable architectures.
• Contribute to Kensium’s thought leadership through whitepapers, webinars, and industry events.
• B2B Commerce Strategy & Architecture:
  Expertise in designing solutions for complex B2B workflows including quoting, approvals, account-based pricing, and custom catalogs.
• Big Commerce Platform Mastery:
  Deep understanding of Big Commerce’s architecture, APIs, B2B features, and ecosystem.
• Cross-Platform
  
  Experience:
  
  Working knowledge of Shopify and Adobe Commerce is a strong advantage, especially in multi-platform environments.
• ERP Integration Leadership:
  Proven success integrating commerce platforms with ERP systems such as Net Suite, Acumatica, Sage, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Technical Leadership & Mentorship:
  Ability to lead technical teams, set architectural standards, and foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Strategic Communication & Influence:
  Skilled in engaging C-level stakeholders, driving consensus, and aligning technical solutions with business goals.
• Innovation & Adaptability:
  Comfortable navigating ambiguity, adopting new technologies, and driving continuous improvement.

• 8+ years of experience in eCommerce architecture, with a strong focus on Big Commerce and B2B implementations.
• Experience with Big Commerce and Adobe Commerce is highly desirable.
• Deep understanding of ERP systems and integration patterns.
• Strong grasp of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), APIs, and data orchestration.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and enterprise architecture frameworks.
