Join CIBC US as a Production Support Engineer II on the US Risk Technology team. You will support our anti‑money laundering (AML) platform built using SAS Viya 3.5, used for customer risk rating, transaction monitoring, and regulatory reporting.

You will provide application, database, and cloud support, manage releases, ensure service continuity, collaborate across departments, and communicate technical concepts.

• Application Support – investigate issues, prioritize incidents, identify root causes, and implement solutions; apply ITIL practices.
• Database Support – write complex SQL queries; troubleshoot ETL pipelines.
• Cloud Computing – manage Linux VMs and a Postgre
  
  SQL database on Microsoft Azure.
• Release Management – oversee production changes affecting the SAS Viya AML platform.
• Service Continuity – perform disaster recovery tests.
• Collaboration – build trusted relationships with stakeholders, partners, and vendors.
• Communication – express technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Continuous Learning – stay up to date with emerging technologies and regulatory developments.

• At least 1 year of application support experience; experience with Linux VMs, SQL, and cloud (preferably Azure). Experience with SAS Viya and relevant certifications is an asset.
• Strong communication skills and prioritization ability in a fast‑paced environment.

We offer a competitive total rewards package with a salary range of $83,100–$115,400. The role may include incentive compensation and discretionary bonus.
