About the Role
As the Senior IT Compliance Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the company’s IT compliance and risk management programs. Your work will focus on ensuring strong adherence to SOX IT General Controls, supporting governance frameworks, and partnering across IT and business functions to identify and manage risk.
You’ll serve as a key liaison between IT teams and auditors, support the execution of IT risk assessments, and contribute to policy development, testing coordination, and remediation planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and support compliance with SOX IT general controls, including evidence collection, control testing, and gap remediation
- Collaborate with IT stakeholders to design, implement, and document effective control procedures and narratives
- Coordinate and liaise with internal and external auditors, ensuring timely response and support
- Perform IT risk assessments and gap analyses across infrastructure, applications, and processes
- Assist in managing IT governance policies, procedures, and compliance reporting dashboards
- Evaluate risks associated with new systems, process changes, and technology upgrades
- Help prepare reports, compliance metrics, and presentations for senior leadership
- Stay current with regulatory changes, audit standards, and best practices in IT compliance and cybersecurity
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Accounting, Business, or related field
- CISA certification required (or in progress); CRISC or CISSP preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in IT audit, SOX compliance, or IT risk management
- Familiarity with IT control frameworks such as COBIT, NIST, or ISO 27001
- Strong understanding of ITGCs, testing procedures, and documentation requirements
- Experience working cross-functionally with internal IT teams and audit partners
- SAP experience preferred but not required
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
- High attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and comfort in a fast-paced environment
Additional Info
- Travel required:
10–15% (primarily domestic) - Must meet all company safety protocols and PPE requirements, including respirator compliance if needed
