Beacon Hill has partnered with a non‑profit organization in hiring a Benefits Administrator to start immediately! This is a contract‑to‑hire role in the Loop supporting roughly 600 employees with benefits administration.

Base pay range

$27.00/hr - $36.00/hr

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, COBRA, 401(k), and wellness initiatives
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee benefit inquiries and provide timely resolution of issues
  • Assist with open enrollment, benefits communications, and compliance filings (e.g., 5500s, ACA reporting)
  • Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and ensure benefits data integrity
  • Liaise with vendors to troubleshoot problems, process enrollments/changes, and ensure quality service
  • Coordinate and process leave of absence requests, including FMLA, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies
  • Support audits, benefit plan renewals, and internal reporting
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in benefits administration or HR support with a focus on employee benefits
  • Knowledge of federal and state benefit‑related laws (e.g., ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, FMLA)
  • Experience with HRIS and benefits platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, UKG, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • CEBS or other relevant certification a plus
