We are currently seeking a Recruitment Coordinator for our Corporate Recruiting Department, in Chicago, IL. The Recruitment Coordinator is primarily responsible for supporting the administration and delivery of the Recruitment Function from start to finish by assisting the Recruitment Department with:
+ National Recruitment Events
+ Orientation & Onboarding Process
+ Retention Activities
+ Database management
The Recruitment Coordinator will provide support to the entire recruitment process from start to finish. The Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for working with members of the Recruitment Team and other Business Groups to administer and track recruitment and retention activity. In addition, this position is responsible for managing applicant tracking systems, event management tracking, employee check backs, and reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Register for national recruitment events and assist with planning retention events for employees.
+ Solicit recruitment volunteers from the organization and invite & track recruitment volunteers for events. Assist the Recruitment Team in providing recruitment volunteers training on interviews, career fair presentation, and candidate correspondence.
+ Review resumes in ATS and assist Recruiters with excess phone interviews.
+ Issue applicant correspondence, including turndown, general response, and offer letters.
+ Input phone interview notes and other information needed to keep our applicant tracking system up to date.
+ Update recruitment calendars (i.e. internal and external website calendars) to update the department as well as the company on recruitment activities.
+ Assist in orientation efforts for all newly hired employees. Encourage departments to be welcoming to their new employees.
+ Track newly hired employees and their start dates. Make sure HR and receiving business division is ready for their employees on day one.
+ Assist in organizing activities. Activities may include industry presentations, outings, games, and jobsite tours.
+ Assist with post-hire follow-up for new employees by providing check backs. Administer check backs through surveys, phone conversations, or other creative methods of correspondence.
+ Assist in the development of recruitment presentations and handouts. Assist in organizing new hire addresses and college contact addresses to ensure delivery of Walsh Newsletters and Hard Hat News.
+ Other projects and other duties assigned as needed by the group.
QUALIFICATIONS
+ Bachelor's degree is required or equivalent experience in an HR role, specifically in Recruitment and Selection in a progressive organization.
+ 1 year of work experience in the field of Human Resources, specifically in Recruitment and Selection, with a college degree is preferred, or a minimum of 3 years of directly related experience.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems or Workday is a plus
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to verbally deliver group presentations, develop computer presentations, create marketing materials, and write company communications.
+ Confident interpersonal skills when interacting with candidates
+ Strong attention to detail with the ability to proof-read work for errors
+ Well organized with solid time management skills and the ability to work well with time constraints, multiple priorities and deadlines.
