About Our Client:Addison Group is hiring for our client, a global organization with a collaborative corporate HR team. This role supports a professional, fast-paced HR environment and is based in a modern Chicago office offering on-site amenities and resources.
Job Description:The HR Coordinator will provide critical administrative and operational support to a regional HR organization. This role partners closely with HR leadership and multiple HR functions to ensure smooth execution of reporting, scheduling, onboarding support, and program coordination. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a professional corporate setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Support HR leaders with scheduling, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and expense reporting
- Assist with preparation and logistics for HR meetings, town halls, and learning sessions
- Coordinate invoicing, billing, and tracking for HR-related vendors, projects, and programs
- Maintain and update HR workflow documentation, trackers, and reporting spreadsheets
- Support onboarding and transition processes for HR leadership, including system access and communication updates
- Assist with internal communications, reporting cycles, and content coordination
- Compile and distribute reports related to talent development initiatives, training participation, and compliance activities
- Maintain databases and trackers for development programs and leadership pipelines
- Provide administrative and reporting support to talent acquisition and university program initiatives
- Independently manage daily priorities while identifying opportunities for process improvement
- Escalate items involving risk, policy, or financial impact as needed
- 2–4 years of experience in an HR, coordination, administrative, or operations-focused role
- Strong Excel skills required, including spreadsheets and pivot tables
- Experience supporting multiple leaders in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with HR systems is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
- Contract length:
Approximately 6 months - 100% in-office Monday–Thursday at the Chicago office
