** HR Generalist
** to support our Chicago-based operations. This in-person role partners closely with employees and leaders to provide day-to-day HR support, with a focus on employee relations, benefits, and compliance.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Serve as a primary HR contact for employees and managers
* Process and maintain leave of absence administration
* Handle employee relations matters, including investigations and performance support
* Support benefits administration and respond to employee benefit questions
* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
* Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
* Support onboarding, employee communications, and engagement initiatives
*
* Qualifications:

*** 3+ years of HR Generalist experience
* Strong knowledge of employee relations, benefits, and HR compliance
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* HRIS and ATS experience required (Workday a plus)
* Union experience preferred, not required
** Work Environment:
*** In-person role based in Chicago, IL, monthly travel to Batavia, IL
