Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Overview
Senior Total Rewards Analyst – Hybrid 3 days on-site at Northbrook or Chicago, IL. Responsible for managing compensation strategies across a broad region, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and local market trends. Provides analysis, reporting, and recommendations to optimize compensation structures and support recruitment, retention, and business performance.
Responsibilities- Design, implement, and administer compensation programs (salary range management, bonus forecasting, program cost & impact analysis).
- Consult HR, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders on compensation strategies and best practices.
- Conduct job evaluations and support equity initiatives.
- Drive the annual compensation process (merit, promotions, annual bonus, LTIP) including data audits, communications, and system testing.
- Lead projects, provide subject‑matter expertise, and present recommendations to leadership.
- Develop communications, resources, and tools to engage stakeholders.
- Streamline internal processes and reporting; maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Automate and maintain analytics reporting using Excel, Power BI, and HR systems.
- Monitor state and federal regulations; partner with legal and HR Business Partners for compliance.
- Perform other related projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, finance, math, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years combined experience in compensation, finance, or HR.
- 3 years experience in compensation program administration, design, and analytics.
- Proficiency in market pricing, job evaluations, base pay, incentive administration, and consulting principles.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting compensation design.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to summarize analytics clearly.
- Excellent analytical, project‑management, and initiative‑taking skills.
- Time‑management and prioritization abilities; adaptable to changing priorities.
- Attention to detail, problem‑solving, and independent judgment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Oracle HR systems;
Power BI experience a plus. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Estimated salary range: $90,000–$130,000, based on factors such as experience and location. Target annual bonus of 10% of base salary. Health, dental, vision, and wellness benefits. 401(k) retirement plan. Paid time off: 15 vacation days, 12 floating holidays, 72 hours sick leave.
