Position Title:
(HR) Front Desk HR Assistant – Wrigley Field
Pay Range: $20.00 – $20.00 per hour
Job SummaryProvides administrative support to the Human Resources Director on all personnel matters. Assists with payroll processing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests, inquiries, and questions both in person and over the phone
- Updates HR spreadsheet with employee change requests, tracks HR compliance items and processes paperwork
- Submits MLB credentialing for events
- Assists HR Manager with various research projects and/or special projects
- Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by HR Manager
- Makes photocopies, mass printing jobs, scans documents and performs other clerical functions
- Files/scans papers and documents into the appropriate employee files using shared drive
- Prepares and creates new employee files
- Creates standard operating procedures
- Supports large‑scale orientations
- Processes office mail
- Manages office bulletin boards
- Ensures the office is clean, tidy, decorated, and stocked
- Tracks office supply inventory and submits office supply orders
- Supports HR employee engagement initiatives
- Assists all managers with miscellaneous projects
- Performs other duties as assigned
- This position requires strong organizational skills, an understanding of HR practices, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
- 1–2 years of experience in an administration role
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are a must
- Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality and handle sensitive matters professionally
- The ideal candidate is proactive, polished, and possesses exceptional communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to represent the department with confidence and professionalism
- Demonstrated ability to stay composed and effective in high‑pressure situations
- Proficient with office equipment including scanners, copiers, and printers
- Bilingual preferred
