About the RoleWe are seeking a Learning & Development Senior Associate (or AVP) to join a growing Human Resources team. This newly created role will report directly to the Senior Director of Talent Management and will play a critical part in shaping and executing enterprise-wide talent development initiatives.
The ideal candidate will bring strong HR and talent development expertise, particularly in financial services, and will thrive in a fast-paced, highly analytical environment. This role combines strategic program design with hands-on execution, requiring someone who is collaborative, data-driven, and passionate about building best-in-class learning and development frameworks.
Key Responsibilities- Lead design, rollout, and evaluation of key learning and development programs (e.g., leadership development, executive coaching, career pathing).
- Deliver training and coaching at the individual, team, and department levels.
- Leverage employee data and feedback to shape and evolve training programs, competency models, and development offerings.
- Partner with senior leaders to enhance leadership effectiveness and management capabilities.
- Oversee relationships with external training vendors, ensuring consistent, high-quality program delivery.
- Create innovative ROI reporting on talent initiatives and present findings to senior leadership.
- Support ad-hoc human capital projects and organizational development initiatives as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (required).
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, or related field (preferred).
- 3–8 years of progressive HR and/or talent development experience; financial services background strongly preferred.
- Solid foundation in training, performance management, leadership development, and talent reviews.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills; comfortable engaging with senior executives.
- Strong project management and analytical skills; able to drive initiatives from concept to execution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams).
- Team-oriented, highly motivated, and adaptable with a “roll-up-your-sleeves” mentality.

The expected base salary range is $140,000 to $170,000
