The AC Hotel by Marriott Downtown Chicago is seeking a Housekeeper to join our team. You will help make our guests feel at home by preparing rooms for the next guests, cleaning, restocking items, and helping keep all areas in the hotel clean, neat and tidy in a stylish, fast-paced environment where people are at the heart of everything we do.

Nestled just steps from the Magnificent Mile, our 224-room AC Hotel is among the first of its kind in the U.S., part of Marcus Hotels & Resorts. We craft unforgettable experiences for travelers who seek style, substance, and seamless service.

• Clean stay-over and check-out rooms, change sheets and replenish towels and amenities as needed.
• Thoroughly clean and inspect rooms, including bathtubs, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, floors, and furniture with attention to detail.
• Vacuum rooms, empty trash, restock amenities, and organize housekeeping closets.
• Respond quickly to guest requests, follow chemical safety rules, and handle hazardous materials properly.
• Report suspicious activities and hazardous conditions to Security; turn in found items to Lost and Found.
• Maintain high guest relation standards and assist with requests for additional items.

• Previous experience in a similar position at a full-service hotel such as a guest room attendant, cleaner, or other housekeeping roles; experience in hotels, hospitals, casinos, or residential settings is preferred.
• Physical stamina to complete repetitive manual labor tasks.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Professional, well-groomed, and courteous representation of the company.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, grasp, stretch, and use a vacuum and push a cart regularly.
• High school education or equivalent; basic English communication skills preferred.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and under pressure.

Pay Estimate: Starting at $24.00 per hour
