We invite you to apply to join our team at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago as an Overnight Front Desk Supervisor. The Overnight Front Desk Supervisor is an essential member of the Rooms division team which is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. The position requires a high level of attention to detail, a strong work ethic, the ability to multitask and prioritize, and flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Successful candidates will be willing team players, comfortable with electronic systems, and able to accept assignments on an as-needed basis to promote teamwork.
Responsibilities- Supervises overnight shift at the Front Desk
- Welcomes and registers hotel guests, explaining the accommodations and establishing credit or method of payment
- Works closely with staff from all departments to assure that standards are being met
- Responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies
- Two-years luxury hotel experience
- Strong supervisory skills including decision making, communication, deductive reasoning and problem solving
- Exceptional communication skills and command of English language
- Additional language preferred but not required
- Completion of Post-Secondary Education in Hospitality or related field
- Strong Customer Service, Multi-tasking, and Communication Skills
- Knowledge of Opera Property Management System
- Responsive to constructive feedback from hotel leadership
Candidates must have valid work authorization for the U.S.
