• Basic understanding of a kitchen operation within the hotel. Practice the importance of producing a consistent, quality product that meets and exceeds the guests  needs in a timely manner.
• Possesses basic skills in department training and is capable of assuming department responsibilities in the absence of the Sushi Chef and Chef de Cuisine.
• Skills and knowledge to include culinary education, cost control, basic communication and leadership skills and computer skills.
• Assist in daily prep or any other assigned item by Sushi Chef and Chef de Cuisine.
• Maintain a good working relationship with all back of house, front of house staff, management and guests.
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management.
