You Will Have An Opportunity To Do
The Director of Housekeeping oversees all housekeeping operations in a unionized hotel environment, ensuring exceptional cleanliness, safety, and service throughout guest rooms and public spaces. This role leads a large team of unionized room attendants, house persons, public area staff, laundry employees, and supervisors while maintaining full compliance with the collective bargaining agreement (CBA).
Key Responsibilities- Managing daily operations, setting and maintaining quality standards, conducting inspections, coordinating staffing and work assignments, and ensuring adherence to all safety and OSHA requirements.
- The Director serves as the primary liaison with union representatives, handling grievances, work rules, scheduling, and employee relations in alignment with the CBA.
