Housekeeping Public Area Attendant; PM

Job Description

As a Housekeeping Public Area Attendant you will maintain the public areas of the hotel, assist Room Attendants with supply replenishment, and provide warm service to guests for a full hotel experience.

• PM Shift 2:30 pm – 11 pm
• Clean and maintain assigned areas (elevator foyer, hallway signage, windows, plant stands, light fixtures, fire extinguishers, air vents, walls, etc.)
• Pick up and remove visible trash and room‑service items
• Vacuum and edge‑clean hall carpet on assigned floors
• Replenish housekeeping supplies in guest‑room floor storage rooms
• Complete inventory assignments
• Assist with guest and staff request calls
• Place linen/supplies in floor closets and clear the chute
• Provide warm and friendly service to internal and external guests
• Participate in morning briefings, training, and development programs
• Follow safety rules, emergency procedures, fire prevention regulations, and hotel policies
• Report maintenance items and return lost & found articles to Risk Management
• Perform any other tasks that may be assigned

• Constant standing and walking throughout the shift
• Constant bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling
• Occasional lifting and carrying over 50 lbs
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps
