Job Description

Summary:

The Door Attendant sets the tone for Sonesta’s mission of “Wowing” our guests with Amazing Moments. Assist guests in entering and exiting the hotel and managing luggage.

• Greet guests.
• Open doors and assist guests and visitors entering and leaving the property.
• Explain and promote hotel facilities, outlets, and services to guests and provide information about local attractions and activities.
• Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms or the bell area; assist with luggage storage and retrieval.
• Assist guests and visitors in and out of vehicles, including loading/unloading luggage and providing directions.
• Arrange transportation for guests and record advance transportation requests when needed.
• Communicate parking procedures to guests and visitors.

• Professional verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, including dealing with difficult guests recommender.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Hourly: $14.75 to $15.75 per hour. Pay rate follows contract requirements.
