Position Title: Director of Catering
Salary: $65,000 to $70,000
Other Forms of Compensation: Commission

Job SummaryAs Director of Catering, you will share our values and passion for the industry to lead our catering team within the renowned Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago. The museum, established in 1967, is one of the world's largest contemporary art venues.

Your responsibilities will include:- Conducting site visits and closing business for the museum.
- Representing the museum’s special events department at networking and industry-related gatherings.
- Developing and maintaining a positive working relationship with our client and building staff.
- Producing monthly forecast of performance to budget and plan.
- Developing and achieving the annual Catering Revenue Budget.
- Submitting monthly reports.
- Maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Ensuring company policies and procedures are enforced fairly and consistently.
- Five years prior experience with a proven record of accomplishment in a similar facility.
- College Degree.
- Willing to work flexible hours (e.g., weekends, evenings).
- Must be extremely organized.
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
- Excellent supervisory skills.
