- Help get groups and events booked, from proposals and contracting to working with the hotel operating systems.
- Be nice to people, respond to leads quickly, and negotiate fairly.
- Prepare and distribute BEOs and other reports throughout the hotel.
- Work closely with the hotel’s operations team to create amazing stays and events that wow guests.
- Review personal performance reports and perform quality control checks.
- Ensure event spaces are always on point and fully loaded.
- Meet, greet, and entertain new and existing clients (appointments, cold calls, etc.).
- Achieve monthly revenue targets and objectives.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales to produce an annual Sales Activity Plan.
- Manage and convert key business, setting regular conversion days.
- Engage key clients and guests in-house to build relationships for future business.
- Maintain an updated and accurate CRM.
- Deliver unforgettable hospitality across all business areas and cultivate a sales culture within the operations team.
- Track inquiries to confirmed business to ensure high conversion rates.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports to the Director of Sales and General Manager, and share results at weekly Rev Max and Sales Strategy meetings.
- Execute client entertainment, site tours, and familiarization trips as needed.
- Cross‑sell within the hotel and to our global family.
- Take safety seriously and follow all fire, security, health and safety procedures.
- At least 2 years of hotel sales experience.
- Problem‑solver who thrives on difficult challenges and creative solutions.
- Strong Excel skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to think on feet and adapt quickly to change.
- Clear communication in person, writing, and phone.
- Motivated, proactive, and self‑directed.

The Hoxton, Chicago is our third hotel in North America, located in the Fulton Market district—a fast‑evolving area with new stores, startups, global HQs, and vibrant dining.
